Our client has grown rapidly, employing over 800 people with an annual turnover approaching $1 billion. This forward-thinking company actively makes strategic investments in Manufacturing Intelligence technology to achieve real-time analytics and insights into its operations.
Our US and European based System 21 Aurora consultants will be utilised to consult, develop and support our client’s latest Manufacturing technical advancement; the addition of a cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to be fully integrated with Infor’s System 21 Aurora Manufacturing, Production and Inventory modules.
The project objectives were to, shorten product time to market, reduced compliance risks, decrease costs, increase productivity, accelerate revenue growth, enhance product quality and drive innovation.
Initially our solution architects worked with our client’s technical teams to agree the conceptual design of the interface requirements. The proposed solution was to deploy Infor’s ION adapters from our client’s cloud-based PLM software, which would in turn deposit the PLM inbound data feeds onto the on-premise IBM iSeries (AS400).
Our System 21 Aurora developers were then engaged to build the IBM iSeries PLM API recipient programs. These custom built RPGILE recipient programs will then seamlessly integrate the PLM data feeds simultaneously into the System 21 Aurora Manufacturing, Production and Inventory databases, using our tried and tested System 21 Aurora interface algorithms.
The US System 21 Aurora helpdesk team will then be available to facilitate on site go live and ongoing remote support, bolstered by our UK and European operations.
In addition to this client, Total e Solutions is continuing to receive resource requirements from US based companies running Infor’s System 21 Aurora ERP.
